Provide youth an opportunityto participate in an environment that fosters fair play, sportsmanship, teamwork, development of new skills, fun and the concept that everyone wins.
Sportsmanship:
Coaches and players arevexpected to conduct themselves as positive role models at all times. If thevofficial hears a coach or player using profanity or verbal abuse on the court during the games then the coach or player will be consulted by the official and the official will give them a warning and a technical foul. If a coach or player is consulted a second time by the official for verbal abuse or profanity, then the coach or player will be ejected from the game and will sit out during the proceeding game.
Parents are also expected to conduct themselves as positive role models at all times. If the official hears a parent using profanity during a game then the official will grant the parent a verbal warning. If the parent continues to use profanity and verbal abuse during the game then the parent will be dismissed from the gym and will be asked to leave the building. The Sports Coordinator and Program Director will
be notified of the situation and will deal with it properly.
Before the Start of game:
